Quickly and safely to the right ceiling
The full implementation of the EU-BauPVO (Construction Products Regulation) on 1st July 2013 has resulted in changes regarding the relevant usability certificates for construction products, construction kits and construction methods. The objective of the regulation is the continued dismantling of trade barriers in the EU by means of standardised product and inspection standards, thereby creating harmonised specifications for construction products. The Construction Products Regulation No. 305/2011 requires a declaration of performance in which a manufacturer declares that its products or construction kits (for resistance to fire) comply with DIN EN 13964 and also with regard to in-house production control regarding technical parameters (key characteristics according to DIN EN 13964) and constancy of performance. The declarations of performance replace the previous EU declarations of compliance. Furthermore, OWA offers you legal certainty in terms of the required usability certifications. This is significant for the acceptance of work, construction documents and the right to remuneration.
