Are vast seamless ceilings with a fine plaster coating and excellent acoustics nothing more than a pipe dream for architects and installers? Not at all! The seamless OWAplan ceiling system – also part of the OWAconsult collection – has been completely upgraded. Fleece lamination at the factory makes the work onsite even more convenient.
The two new variants, OWAplan 70 and OWAplan 90, can be finished with the OWAplan S (fine) and XS (ultra-fine) plastering systems. Tiles and plaster can be mixed and matched individually.
When combined with the OWAplan XS acoustic plaster coating, the airless process now available for such systems makes it possible to achieve an especially fine surface finish. OWAplan integrates harmoniously with any architectural style, guaranteeing pleasant acoustics and enhanced well-being at the same time.
The number 70 or 90 in the name of the product in question indicates the noise reduction coefficient (NRC), which is 0.70 and 0.90 respectively. An NRC of 0.90 puts OWAplan 90 into the premium class of acoustically effective ceiling systems – class A absorbers.
The manifold prizes recently awarded to OWA are testament to the innovative power of the brand. For example, products from the OWAconsult collection have recently won at the China Good Design Award 2018, the bdia ausgesucht! 2018, the ICONIC AWARDS 2018, the Red Dot: Best of the Best (2018), iF DESIGN AWARDS 2018, the German Design Award 2018, and the MIAW. The logical consequence is that the OWAconsult collection is being continuously improved and upgraded. Among these innovations are the OWAplan and RAW product lines, as well as the introduction of new lighting elements for the modular Corpus system. These and other innovations will be presented to a specialist audience for the first time at the BAU trade fair on Stand 538 in Hall A2.
